Peter Overton
Peter John Overton, (born 5 April 1966) is an Australian television journalist and news presenter. He is currently the presenter for Nine News Sydney from Sunday to Thursday at 6 pm. Early life and family Born in England, Overton moved to Australia at age two after his parents returned home to the country. He grew up in Longueville, a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney. He went to Lane Cove Public School and North Sydney Boys High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University. He also played the tuba whilst at Lane Cove Public School. Ken Sutcliffe
Ken Sutcliffe (born 15 November 1947) is an Australians, Australian sporting journalist and radio and television personality. Career Sutcliffe was born in Oberon, New South Wales, Oberon, New South Wales and grew up in Mudgee. He started his radio career in 1966 in Mudgee, followed by a stint as a general announcer at 2LF Young, and began work on television as a newsreader on local station CBN-8 Orange. He joined TNQ-7 in Townsville during the mid-1970s, before joining TCN-9 in 1979, appearing on ''World of Sport (Sydney, Australia TV series), World of Sport'' with Ron Casey (Sydney broadcaster), Ron Casey. Michael Thomson (journalist)
Michael Thomson (born 23 August 1960) is an Australian news presenter and journalist. He is currently the presenter of ''Nine News Perth'' on weeknights at 6:00 pm and the national late-night news bulletin on Mondays to Thursdays. Career Thomson began his career working with newspaper Daily News in 1980. In 1987, he joined the Nine Network's news program Nine News Perth as a crime reporter, then becoming a sports reporter and presenter. He has covered the Commonwealth Games in Canada in 1994, the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 and Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000. In 2000, Thomson was awarded the Australian Sports Medal. Mark Ferguson (born 22 February 1966) is an Australian news presenter. Ferguson currently presents '' Seven News'' in Sydney on weeknights. He was previously a senior news presenter with '' Nine News Sydney'', presenting the weeknight news bulletin. Tracy Grimshaw (born 3 June 1960) is an Australian journalist and television presenter. She was the host of '' A Current Affair'' between 2006–2022, and was a co-host of ''Today'' between 1996–2005.
