''Periyar'' is a 1973 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed by P. J. Antony. The film stars Thilakan, Raghavan, P. J. Antony and Sudheer. Its musical score was by K. V. Job and P. K. Sivadas. Sudheer (Malayalam Actor)
Sudheer (d. 2004) was an Indian actor who predominantly worked in the Malayalam film industry. He was a lead actor during the 1970s. He acted in more than 100 movies. His role in the movie '' Chembarathy'' in 1972 was well noted. He won a Kerala State Film Award in 1975 for his performance in the movie '' Sathyathinte Nizhalil''. Sudheer has also played the second lead in the 1978 Rajinikanth starrer '' Bairavi'' and has played the lead role in '' Sonna Namba Mateengae''. Raghavan (born 12 December 1941) is an Indian actor who has acted in predominately Malayalam films. From early 2000s he is more active in television serials. He made his Direction debut in '' Kilippaattu'' (1987) which was selected for Indian Panorama and also he is the recipient of Kerala State Television Awards and Asianet Television Awards. Early life and education Raghavan was born in Taliparamba in Kannur district. He had attended his schooling Moothedath High School in Taliparamba. After completing higher secondary he worked in Tagore Drama Troupe. He pursued bachelors in Rural Education from Gandhigram Rural Institute. He got his Diploma from Delhi National School of Drama. Palappurathu Keshavan Surendranatha Thilakan (15 July 1935 – 24 September 2012) was an Indian film and stage actor who appeared in over 200 Malayalam films. Thilakan was known for his elaborate method acting, realistic and spontaneous appearances and is considered to be one of the greatest actors in Malayalam cinema. Kaviyoor Ponnamma
Kaviyoor Ponnamma (10 September 1945 – 20 September 2024) was an Indian actress who appeared in Malayalam films and television. She began her career performing in theatre dramas before foraying into cinema. She also acted in TV serials and commercials and had playback singing credits in few films. Ponnamma was a four-time Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress winner. Her sister Kaviyoor Renuka was also an actress. Often called as the "mother to all actors", she acted as mother of almost all actors in her career spanning over decades. Alleppey Vincent was an Indian actor in Malayalam cinema. He acted in '' Balan'' (1938), the first talkie made in Malayalam. He is the brother of Sebastian Kunjukunju Bhagavathar. Khadeeja (1939/40 - 26 July 2017) was an Indian actress in Malayalam movies. She was a prominent lead actress during the late 1960s and 1970s in Malayalam. In 1968, she acted in '' Viruthan Shanku'', the first full-length comedy in Malayalam cinema directed by P. Venu. She was born in Odakaali in Perumbavoor, Kerala, a Muslim girl who had suffered a lot for learning dance in Kalamandalam. She acted in more than 50 movies.
