Penveu
The penveu is a pen-like device developed by the American company, Interphase, for use with digital audio-visual presentations. History In 1991, SMART Technologies introduced an Interactive Whiteboard, on which the image from a projector was displayed. A USB connection allowed the presenter to virtually interact with the projection. Other after-market products aimed at working with existing projectors ( Mimio and eBeam) came out after that. Interphase Corporation (Nasdaq: INPH) was founded in 1974, and filed for initial public offering in 1984. In 2010, penveu was invented. The company developed and tested the concepts for two years until unveiling the product at the DEMO conference in Santa Clara, California, on April 18, 2012. Mimio
Mimio is a brand name of a line of technology products aimed at the education market. The primary products were originally focused around computer whiteboard interactive teaching devices. MimioCapture devices also allow users to capture all of the ink strokes that are written on the whiteboard. When used in conjunction with a video projector it turns the ordinary whiteboard surface into a fully interactive whiteboard. The product line has been dramatically expanded in the last two years as described in the "Hardware Products" and "Software Products" sections below. EBeam
eBeam was an interactive whiteboard system developed by Luidia, Inc. that transformed any standard whiteboard or other surface into an interactive display and writing surface. Luidia's eBeam hardware and software products allowed text, images, and video to be projected onto a variety of surfaces, where an interactive stylus or marker could be used to add notes, access control menus, manipulate images, and create diagrams and drawings.
