Pembroke Borough A.F.C. are a Welsh football club from the town of Pembroke, Pembrokeshire in the southwest of Wales. They are twice champions of the Welsh Football League's top division. Pembroke ( ; cy, Penfro ) is both a town and a community in Pembrokeshire, Wales, with a population of 7,552. The Welsh Football League (also known as the Nathaniel Car Sales Welsh Football League for sponsorship reasons) was a club football league in Wales. For its final season in 2019–20 season it operated at levels 3 and 4 of the Welsh football league system. The Pembrokeshire League (currently the ''Manderwood Pembrokeshire League'') is a football league in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, running from levels five to nine of the Welsh football league system. Teams promoted from Division One may enter the West Wales Premier League if standards and facilities fall into line with the regulations of the Welsh Football League. It formed the top division of the Welsh Football League and the second level of the Welsh football league system until the 2019–20 season when it was replaced by the Cymru South. The Welsh Football League Division Two, (last known as the ''Nathanielcars.co.uk Welsh League Division Two'', for sponsorship reasons) was a football league and forms the fourth level of the Welsh football league system in South Wales. If the team which finishes top of the division has good enough ground facilities, traditionally it was promoted to the Welsh Football League Division One and is replaced by the team finishing bottom of Division One. West Wales FA Senior Cup
The West Wales FA Senior Cup was the regional knock-out competition for the higher ranked clubs beneath the umbrella of the West Wales Football Association until its end in 2009. It has been replaced with the WWFA Intermediate Cup, a tournament for clubs below Tier 3 in the Welsh football pyramid that play in West Wales. The cup was open to clubs competing in the Welsh Football League, the League of Wales / Welsh Premier League following its formation in 1992, and also Swansea City.
