Pauline Marois
Pauline Marois (; born March 29, 1949) is a retired Canadian politician, who served as the 30th premier of Quebec from 2012 to 2014. Marois had been a Member of the National Assembly (Quebec), member of the National Assembly in various ridings since 1981 as a member of the Parti Québécois (PQ), serving as party leader from 2007 to 2014. She is the first female premier of Quebec. Born in a working-class family, Marois studied social work at Université Laval, married businessman Claude Blanchet and became an activist in Grassroots, grassroots organizations and in the Parti Québécois (a social democracy, social democratic party advocating Quebec sovereignty movement, Quebec's independence). Yves Séguin (; born March 30, 1951) is a former Canadian politician in Quebec. He was first elected as the Quebec Liberal Party (QLP) member for Montmorency in 1985. René Lévesque
René Lévesque ( ; August 24, 1922 – November 1, 1987) was a Canadian politician and journalist who served as the 23rd premier of Quebec from 1976 to 1985. He was the first Québécois political leader since Confederation to seek, through a referendum, a mandate to negotiate the political independence of Quebec. Jacques Léonard (; born December 2, 1936) is a Canadian accountant, educator, and politician in the province of Quebec. Jean Garon (May 6, 1938 – July 1, 2014) was a politician, lawyer, academic and economist in Quebec, Canada. He was born in Saint-Michel, Quebec, and graduated from Université Laval with a bachelor's degree in 1960 and a master's in economics two years later. He received a law degree in 1969 and was called to the Quebec Bar in June 1970.
