Paul Holland (footballer)
Paul Holland (born 8 July 1973) is an English former footballer who made over 300 appearances in the Football League for Mansfield Town, Sheffield United, Chesterfield and Bristol City and was capped two times for the England U21s, playing alongside the likes of David Beckham and Robbie Fowler. He is a former manager of Mansfield Town and Ilkeston. Career Holland was born in Lincoln. As a player, he was a combative midfielder. He began his career with Mansfield Town, then spent a brief spell with Sheffield United, before joining Chesterfield. In the 1996–97 season, he was part of Chesterfield's historic run to the FA Cup semi-final, coming on as a substitute in both the semi-final and semi-final replay against Middlesbrough. He turned down a £200,000 move to Port Vale following lengthy negotiations in 1994. Holland later joined Bristol City, where he suffered a serious knee injury during a match in September 2000, followed by a stress fracture of the kneecap in May 2001. Subs ... Billy Dearden
William Dearden (born 11 February 1944) is an English former football player, manager and scout. As a player, he scored 101 goals in 404 league games in a 16-year career in the English Football League. A striker, he began his career with hometown club Oldham Athletic in 1963. Three years later, he moved on to Crewe Alexandra and helped the "Railwaymen" to win promotion out of the Fourth Division in 1967–68. He then moved on to Chester for a two-season spell. He was sold to Sheffield United for a £10,000 fee in August 1970 and helped the "Blades" to win promotion out of the Second Division in 1970–71. He returned to Chester City in 1976 before switching to Chesterfield the following year. He coached at Chesterfield, Mansfield Town, and Port Vale, before he was appointed Mansfield manager in 1999. The 1994–95 Football League season was the 96th completed season of The Football League. It was the third season of The Football League since the formation of the Premier League. For sponsorship reasons, the league was known as the Endsleigh League. Overview The reduction of the Premier League from 22 teams to 20, to take effect from the 1995–96 season, meant that just two teams would be promoted from the First Division in 1995: the champions and the play-off winners. Middlesbrough were the champions, in their first season under Bryan Robson. Andrew Jonathan Todd (born 22 February 1979) is an English footballer who last played as a midfielder for Matlock Town. Playing career Burton Albion He was a late substitute for the Burton Albion side under Nigel Clough that drew 0–0 against Manchester United in the third round of the 2005–06 FA Cup.
