The Bay of Bangkok (, , , sometimes informally อ่าวตัว ก), also known as the Bight of Bangkok, is the northernmost part of the Gulf of Thailand, roughly extending from Hua Hin District to the west and Sattahip District to the east. The Sanctuary Of Truth
The Sanctuary of Truth () is an unfinished museum in Pattaya, Thailand designed by Thai businessman Lek Viriyaphan. The museum structure is a hybrid of a temple and a castle that is themed on the Ayutthaya Kingdom and of Buddhist and Hindu beliefs. The building is notably constructed entirely out of wood, specifically Mai Deang, Mai Takien, Mai Panchaat, and Teak. It contains only wood-carved idols and sculptures. Construction first began in 1981 and is still in construction, though visitors are permitted inside with hard hats. Located on 13 hectares of land, the temple houses an internal space of 2,115 m2, with the tallest spire reaching . List Of Municipalities In Thailand
Thailand divides its settlements ('' thesaban'') into three categories by size: city municipalities ('' thesaban nakhon''), towns ('' thesaban mueang'') and townships (or subdistrict municipality) (''thesaban tambon''). There are 33 city municipalities as of November 2024. The national capital Bangkok and the special governed city Pattaya fall outside these divisions. They are "self-governing districts". Bang Lamung District
Bang Lamung (, ) is a district (''amphoe'') in the southern part of Chonburi province, Thailand. Bang Lamung includes Pattaya City, a special local government organization within the district area. History ''Mueang'' Bang Lamung was formerly in Ban Bang Lamung, Tambon Bang Lamung. However, the government downgraded Bang Lamung to a district, with the district office on the banks of Khlong Nok Yang. In 1909, the district head, ''Phraya'' Sattaya Nukun (Choem), moved the district office to the seacoast in Tambon Na Kluea. On 21 October 1952 the district office was completely destroyed by a storm. The office set up temporarily in Bang Lamung School, Sukhumvit Road. The following year the Thai government approved building a new district office near the school. It is still in use today. Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden
Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden (), also called Nongnooch Pattaya Garden, is a botanical garden and tourist attraction in Chonburi Province, Thailand. Located on Sukhumvit road, it can be reached via bus, taxi or private land transportation. It is also a major scientific center dedicated to cycads, with its own Cycad Gene Bank. Nong Nooch is the largest botanical garden in Southeast Asia. History In 1954, Pisit and Nongnooch Tansacha purchased 1,500 rai of land on the garden's modern location. The couple had originally planned to use the land as a fruit location for several foreign and native fruits, including coconuts, mangoes, and oranges.
