Pat Henry (comedian)
Patrick Henry Scarnato (August 28, 1924 – February 18, 1982), was a Brooklyn-born American comedian who was known for opening for Frank Sinatra for more than two decades. He first appeared with Sinatra in 1958, and appeared with him in the 1968 films '' The Detective'' and ''Lady in Cement''. ''The Detective'' is a 1968 American neo-noir crime drama film starring Frank Sinatra. Directed by Gordon Douglas and produced by Aaron Rosenberg, it is based on the 1966 novel of the same name by Roderick Thorp. ''Hollywood Squares'' (originally ''The Hollywood Squares'', later stylized as ''H2: Hollywood Squares'') is an American game show in which two contestants compete in a game of tic-tac-toe to win cash and prizes. Titled ''The Saturday Night Hollywood Palace'' for its first few weeks, it began as a midseason replacement for '' The Jerry Lewis Show'', another variety show, which lasted only three months.
