Pasni City
Pasni (), is a city and a fishing port in Gwadar District, Balochistan (Pakistan), Balochistan, Pakistan. It is located on the Makran coast on Arabian Sea about from Karachi. Administratively, Pasni is the headquarters of Pasni Tehsil, a sub-division of Gwadar District. Astola Island lies ESE of Pasni, in the Arabian Sea. The city of Pasni is administratively subdivided into two Union Councils of Pakistan, Union Councils. Topography The topography of the area is marked by low jagged hills of the Makran Coastal Range, while flat land is more common towards the coast. Zarrénay koh is a small hill astride a promontory (Cape or ''Ras'' Juddi) south of Passini and marks the highest point (416' ASL) in the area. The unspoilt and pristine beaches of Passini offer some of the most enchanting sceneries along the Arabian Sea. Makran Coastal Range
Makran Coastal Range is a mountain range in the Makran region, in southwestern section of Balochistan (Pakistan), Balochistan Province, in southwestern Pakistan. It is one of three mountain ranges system in the province. The range rises to around in elevation. ;Geology The Makran Coastal Range is primarily made up of limestone and sandstone. Bizenjo
Bizenjo () is an ethnic Brahui tribe inhabiting Balochistan province in Pakistan. The tribe belongs to the Jhalawani branch of the Brahui tribes. According to the official list by Mir Ahmad Yar, the last Khan of Kalat, Bizenjo was originally one of the Jatt tribes inhabiting the region; the others being Zehri and Mengal. Though the Bizenjo in eastern Makran are Brahui by origin, they have been Baluchified in language and customs due to a prolonged residence in Makran. Kalmati or Kalmat is a Baloch clan settled in Balochistan, Pakistan. Members of the clan also live in Iran and Afghanistan. Kalmatis mostly work in cultivation and business. Baloch People

2023 Pakistani Census
The 2023 Census of Pakistan was the detailed enumeration of the Pakistani population and the seventh national census in the country. It was conducted by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. It was also the first ever digital census to be held in Pakistan, including the first in South Asian history. The census was initially held from 1 March 2023 to 1 April 2023. However, enumeration was later extended several times until 30 May 2023, because of incomplete enumeration in large cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad, where people are more mobile and therefore harder to count, and in remote and rural Balochistan. The extension was also used by PBS officials and census takers for quality reviews, to check if all households and people were properly counted in each area. The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) () is a federal agency under the Government of Pakistan. It is an attached department of the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives. It works for collecting statistics in the country. History In 1947, the ''Central Statistical Office'' (CSO) was set up by the government of Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan. In 1950, CSO became an attached department of the Economic Affairs Division. In 1972, on the recommendation of IBRD Mission, Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto upgraded the Central Statistical Office to a full-fledged government division. In 1981, the bureau was reorganized and its technical wing (CSO) was converted into the then ''Federal Bureau of Statistics''. 1945 Balochistan Earthquake
The 1945 Balochistan earthquake () occurred in British India at 1:26 PKT on 28 November 1945 with a moment magnitude of 8.1 and a maximum perceived intensity of X (''Extreme'') on the Mercalli intensity scale. Earthquake The earthquake, with its epicenter 97.6 kilometers south-southwest of Pasni in Balochistan, unleashed a tsunami that caused damage along the Makran coastal region. Deaths from the event were reported to be at least 300 and as many as 4,000 people. Another very large earthquake (7.3 ) occurred in nearly the same location on August 5, 1947, but not much is known about the event or its effects. Tsunami
A tsunami ( ; from , ) is a series of waves in a water body caused by the displacement of a large volume of water, generally in an ocean or a large lake. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and underwater explosions (including detonations, landslides, glacier calvings, meteorite impacts and other disturbances) above or below water all have the potential to generate a tsunami. Unlike normal ocean waves, which are generated by wind, or tides, which are in turn generated by the gravitational pull of the Moon and the Sun, a tsunami is generated by the displacement of water from a large event.
