Pape Habib Guèye
Pape Habib Guèye (born 20 September 1999) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Aberdeen. Career Club career Playing his youth career with Académie Darou Salam, he was a squad member for the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, where Senegal finished as runners-up. He joined Norwegian second-tier side Aalesund ahead of the 2018 season. He scored 22 goals for Aalesund in two seasons, but also had disciplinary issues. In January 2020, during the winter transfer window, he was bought by K.V. Kortrijk of the top-tier Belgian First Division A. Aberdeen On 29 August 2023, Guèye affectionately known to the Dons fans as Mpape signed for Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen for an undisclosed fee on a three-year contract. Ziguinchor
Ziguinchor (; ; ) is the capital of the Ziguinchor Region, and the chief town of the Casamance area of Senegal, lying at the mouth of the Casamance River. It has a population of 214,874 (2023 census). It is the eighth largest city of Senegal, but is nearly separated from the north of the country by the nation of The Gambia. Unlike the semi-arid to arid north of Senegal, Ziguinchor has a tropical savanna climate, as it is under the influence of the West African Monsoon. The Scottish League Cup, also known as the Premier Sports Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a football competition open to all Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) clubs. First held in 1946–47, it is the oldest national League cup in existence. The competition had a straight knockout format but became a group and knockout competition from 2016–17. Eliteserien () is a professional association football league in Norway and the highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. UEFA Conference League
The UEFA Conference League (UECL), usually known simply as the Conference League, is an annual football competition organised since 2021 by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for eligible European football clubs. It is the third-tier competition of European club football, ranking below the second-tier UEFA Europa League, and the first-tier UEFA Champions League.
