Panthrakikos Football Club () is a Greek Association football, football club based in Komotini, Thrace in North Eastern Greece founded in 1963. The club competed in Super League Greece 2008-09, Super League Greece during the 2008–09 season for the first time. History Early years (1963–2001) Panthrakikos F.C. was formed in the town of Komotini in 1963. Athlitiki Enosis Komotini (Athletic Union of Komotini) which was founded in 1936, and Orpheus Komotini which was founded in 1948 were merged with Panthrakikos in 1963 and 1964 respectively. The club participated in regional leagues until 1969, when they joined the Beta Ethniki. They stayed in this division until being relegated in 1978, but were promoted back to Beta Ethniki after a single season. They remained here until 1983. Komotini Municipal Stadium
The Municipal Athletic Centre of Komotini is a multi-purpose stadium in the administrative capital of North-eastern Greece, the city of Komotini. History It was originally built in 1922/3, after the conquest of Western Thrace by the Greek Army. The Northern Stand was constructed in the 1950s. The smaller Southern Stand was built in the 1970s. The stadium remained in a state of disrepair until the 2000s and its capacity was 3,000. In 2006, reconstruction of the Northern Stand took place. A partial roof was also added at the same time and as a result, most of its seats are now covered. The overall renovation, the addition of a Western Stand and super-bright flood lighting were undertaken in 2008. In 2009, the Eastern Stand was added and increased the total capacity to 6,700 seats. Underneath the Eastern Stand, up to 12 stores were pre-planned and were expected to be leased to private businesses. The 1985–86 Gamma Ethniki was the third season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. Charavgiakos and Xanthi were crowned champions in ''Southern'' and ''Northern'' Group respectively, thus winning promotion to Beta Ethniki. Emilio Ferrera (born 19 June 1967) is a Belgian football manager and former player, who manages the U21 squad of Gent. His last former club was OH Leuven in the Belgian First Division B. The Super League Greece 1 (), or Stoiximan Super League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Greece and the highest level of the Greek football league system. PAS Giannina Football Club (), or with its full name Panipirotikós Athlitikós Síllogos Giánnina (, ''Panepirotic Athletic Club Giannina'') is a Greek professional football club based in the city of Ioannina, the capital of Epirus region.
