Paljuvi
Paljuvi is a village in the municipality of Ub, Serbia. According to the 2011 census, the village has a population of 691 people.Popis stanovništva, domaćinstava i Stanova 2002. 2014 Southeast Europe Floods
Between 13 and 18 May 2014 a low-pressure cyclone designated ''Tamara'' and ''Yvette'' affected a large area of Southeastern and Central Europe, causing floods and landslides. Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina suffered the greatest damage, as the rain was the heaviest in 120 years of recorded weather measurements. By 20 May, at least 62 people had died as a result of the flooding, and hundreds of thousands had been forced from their homes. Towns of Obrenovac in Serbia and Doboj in Bosnia and Herzegovina account for most victims, after being inundated by several-meter high waters from nearby rivers. Floodwaters caused over 2,000 landslides across Southeast Europe, spreading damage across many towns and villages. The rains activated torrents and mudslides, and subsequently several rivers in watersheds of Sava and Morava rose and flooded surrounding valleys. Rovni Lake
Rovni Lake () is a water reservoir in western Serbia, created by damming the Jablanica river. It is located between the villages of Stubo and Rovni, from the city of Valjevo. The construction of the Stubo-Rovni dam was completed in September 2015. The lake is an integral part of the regional water management system "Rovni" providing water supply for several cities: Valjevo, Lazarevac, Lajkovac, Ub and Mionica. Ub, Serbia
Ub ( sr-cyr, Уб) is a town and municipality located in the Kolubara District of western Serbia. RB Kolubara (full legal name: ''Privredno društvo za proizvodnju, preradu i transport uglja Rudarski basen Kolubara d.o.o. Lazarevac'', "Company for the production, processing and transport of coal mine basin Kolubara Ltd. Lazarevac") is a Serbian coal mining and smelting complex with headquarters in Lazarevac, Kolubara District. The mine has coal reserves amounting to 2.2 billion tonnes of lignite, one of the largest lignite reserves in Europe, and it produces 22.6 million tonnes of coal per year. Since Kolubara mining basin is the largest coal supplier for Elektroprivreda Srbije it plays a vital role in the country's energy independence.
