Khalid Javed Asghar Ghural is a Pakistani politician who has been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, since 24 February 2024. Early life and education Ghural was born in Gujrat on 7 October 1968. He completed his BA and earned an LL.B. degree from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, in 1993. Jalalpur Jattan Tehsil is a subdivision (tehsil) of Gujrat District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. On 20 November 2016, Jalalpur Jattan was notified as Tehsil by Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Shareef but proper work wasn't started. Then another Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi approved Jalalpur Jattan as Tehsil on 19 Oct 2022 and it was notified on 1st November 2022. Provincial elections were held in the Pakistani province of Punjab on 8 February 2024 to elect a new provincial legislature. On 5 August 2023, the results of the 2023 digital census were approved by the Council of Common Interests headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
