Oregon Cultural Heritage Commission
The Oregon Cultural Heritage Commission (OCHC) is a non-profit organization based in the U.S. state of Oregon. The commission was formed in 1988 in order to discover and commemorate important literary and cultural contributions to Oregon's history. The group does this through publications and other media, memorials, and public events. History The Oregon Cultural Heritage Commission was founded in 1988 by Brian Booth and David Milholland. Bud Clark
John Elwood "Bud" Clark Jr. (December 19, 1931 – February 1, 2022) was an American politician and businessman who served as the 48th mayor of Portland, Oregon from 1985 to 1992. A left-leaning populist with little political experience before his mayoral bid, he was one of Portland's most colorful political figures. Louise Bryant (December 5, 1885 – January 6, 1936) was an American feminist, political activist, and journalist best known for her sympathetic coverage of Russia and the Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolution of November 1917.
