Ona, Hordaland
Ona or One (sometimes ''Oøy'' or ''Oni'') is an island in Øygarden municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies in the Øygarden archipelago just north of the island of Blomøyna and south of Alvøyna. The Hjeltefjorden lies east of the island and the North Sea and some smaller island lie to the west. The southern portion of the island of Ona is dominated by the Kollsnes natural gas processing facility. The island is low, rocky, and barren, with its highest point being the tall Vareidet hill. Vestland
Vestland is a county in Norway established on 1 January 2020. The county is located in Western Norway and it is centred around the city of Bergen, Norway's second largest city. The administrative centre of the county is the city of Bergen, where the executive and political leadership is based, but the County Governor is based in Hermansverk. The county is one of two counties in Norway that have Nynorsk as their official written language form (the others are neutral as to which form people use). Vestland was created in 2020 when the former counties of Hordaland and Sogn og Fjordane (with the exception of Hornindal municipality, which became part of Volda municipality in Møre og Romsdal county) were merged. Øygarden is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is an island municipality located in the traditional district of Midhordland, stretching along the west coast of the county. The village of Straume is the administrative centre of the municipality. Other villages in the municipality include Alveim, Blomvåg, Vikavågen, Ågotnes, Fjell, Foldnes, Knappskog, Knarrevik, Kolltveit, Landro, Sekkingstad, Skogsvåg, Klokkarvik, Tælavåg, Kausland, and Hammarsland. Blomøyna
Blomøyna, or Blomøy, is an island in the municipality of Øygarden in Vestland county, Norway. The island is the second largest island in the municipality. The island lies north of the island of Rongøyna and south of the island of Ona. The southern part of the island is split into two parts by the Blomvågen fjord which cuts northward for into the island. The village of Blomvåg surrounds the inner part of the Blomvågen fjord. Nearly all of the island's residents live in Blomvåg. Blomvåg Church is located in the village, serving the whole southern part of the municipality. Hjeltefjorden is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. The long fjord runs north–south between many islands leading from the open ocean to the city of Bergen. Kollsnes
Kollsnes is a natural gas processing plant operated by Equinor on the southern part of the island of Oøy in Øygarden Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It processes the natural gas from the Troll, Kvitebjørn, and Visund gas fields. Kollsnes has a capacity of of natural gas per day. Operation At Kollsnes, the Natural gas liquids (NGL) are separated out of the gas. The dry gas is compressed and then shoved by large compressors out in the pipe systems that transport it to the customers. In 1999, it was decided that the gas from Kvitebjørn was to be landed at Kollsnes. The consistency of the gas from the field made it well suited to be reprocessed to upgraded products. The new plant that was built cost , with operations starting on 1 October 2004. Starting in October 2005, the gas from Visund is also landed at Kollsnes.
