Omar Hawsawi
Omar Hawsawi (Arabic: عمر هوساوي; born on 27 September 1985) is a Saudi Arabian footballer who currently plays for Al-Ittihad. He also represented the Saudi Arabia national team and earned 53 caps between 2013 and 2019. He also participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2015 and 2019 editions of the AFC Asian Cup. Club career Early career Hawsawi used to be a part of Al-Shabab's youth setup though he was released before he could make his debut for the first team. After he was released by Al-Shabab, Hawsawi joined Al-Washm. He spent a year at Al-Washm before joining Al-Shoulla. Al-Shoulla His first match was against Al-Faisaly, but after one year he left. Al-Faisaly FC ( ar, نادي الفيصلي) is a Saudi Arabian football team playing in the Saudi Professional League, based in Harmah City with a population of around 15,000 people. The club is named after King Faisal (r. 1964–75); he was crown prince at the time of the club's founding. The Arab Club Champions Cup ( ar, كأس العرب للأندية الأبطال, french: Ligue des Champions Arabe) is an annual regional club football competition organised by the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) and contested by elite clubs from the Arab world. The Saudi Crown Prince's Cup ( ar, كأس ولي العهد) was the Saudi Arabian annual cup competition. It was the oldest domestic football competition in Saudi Arabia, its first edition was held in 1956–57, but was not crowned from 1975 until 1990. The 2014–15 Saudi Professional League (known as the Abdul Latif Jameel Professional League for sponsorship reasons) was the 39th season of the Saudi Professional League, the top Saudi professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1976.
