Omar Fetmouche
Omar Fetmouche ( ar, عمر فطموش) (born in Bordj Menaïel on 27 April 1955) is an Algerian artist, actor and playwright. Early life Fetmouche was born in 1955 in the town of Bordj Menaïel in lower Kabylia, and after having done his basic studies in his hometown. He attended the University of Algiers where he obtained a license in French before he registered for a Magister's degree in French literature. Career Fetmouche began his artistic career with the creation in 1976 at Bordj Menaïel of the Menaïli theatrical movement within the framework of amateur theater. Faced with the success of his theatrical troupe, he created in 1982 a popular drama school in Bordj Menaïel to channel the enthusiasm of young people towards the dramatic art. The apotheosis of his artistic movement was crowned in 1990 when he created the artistic company "Sindjab" in his hometown. Bordj Menaïel
Bordj Menaïel (from the Arabic برج - bordj, "tower" and Berber ''imnayen'' "cavaliers") is a town in the Boumerdès Province in Algeria. It is located in the western Kabylie region at and is 30 km away from the city of Boumerdès. As of 2008, the population of the municipality is 64,820. Presentation Bordj Menaïel was founded by the Ottoman government of Algeria, most likely in the 16th century, to guard a route between Algiers and Constantine and to secure control of the Isser plain. In the 18th century, its military role was superseded by the foundation of Bordj Sebaou further west, but it remained the residence of the Ottoman wakil administering the surrounding farmland. The French conquest reached the fort of Bordj Menaïel in 1844, when General Bugeaud took it. Afterwards, it initially became the residence of the aghas of the Iflissen Umellil. Fibonacci (; also , ; – ), also known as Leonardo Bonacci, Leonardo of Pisa, or Leonardo Bigollo Pisano ('Leonardo the Traveller from Pisa'), was an Italian mathematician from the Republic of Pisa, considered to be "the most talented Western mathematician of the Middle Ages". Kabyle People
The Kabyle people ( kab, Izwawen or ''Leqbayel'' or ''Iqbayliyen'', ) are a Berber ethnic group indigenous to Kabylia in the north of Algeria, spread across the Atlas Mountains, east of Algiers. They represent the largest Berber-speaking population of Algeria and the second largest in North Africa. Many of the Kabyles have emigrated from Algeria, influenced by factors such as the Algerian Civil War, cultural repression by the central Algerian government, and overall industrial decline. The Memorandum
''The Memorandum'' is the common name in English for the 1965 play ''Vyrozumění'', by Czech playwright Václav Havel. The first English translation, by Vera Blackwell in 1967, used this title. In 2006, Canadian translator Paul Wilson published a new translation, titled ''The Memo'' at Havel's request. The play is a black comedy that parodies bureaucracy and conformity. Havel wrote it prior to the Prague Spring of 1968 as an ironic satire dissenting against communist rule. Despite its veiled themes, the play was approved by government censors and published. ''The Memorandum'' centers on the introduction of a new language, "Ptydepe", that is meant to make work more efficient despite having the opposite effect. Sam Walters considers ''The Memorandum'' to be Havel’s masterpiece.
