Early life Oliver was born in Ballintemple, Cork before moving to Blackrock when she was young. Her mother is a social worker and her father worked in the motor trade. Arnold “Lucky Arnie” Oliver (May 22, 1907 – October 16, 1993) was a U.S. soccer attacking midfielder. He spent at least six seasons in the American Soccer League. He was a member of the U.S. team at the 1930 FIFA World Cup and is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Club career Oliver, the son of British immigrants, began his career with the New Bedford Quisset Mill, a cotton mill, club when he was fourteen. He then played with the Shawsheen Indians, a local amateur club which joined the professional American Soccer League in 1925. However, Oliver remained an amateur and when the Indians folded during the season, he moved to the Defenders Club, winning the 1926 National Amateur Cup title with them. Life The son of John and Anna Maria Oliver, he was christened at St Mary's church in Whitechapel on 3 October 1774. Oliver studied at the Royal Academy from 13 August 1790. Anton David Oliver (born 9 September 1975) is a retired New Zealand rugby union player. Previously, he played as a hooker for Marlborough (one of the predecessors to today's Tasman side) and Otago in the National Provincial Championship and Air New Zealand Cup, and spent twelve seasons with the Highlanders in Super Rugby. Vivianna Olivia Snowden, (April 12, 1840 – November 21, 1892) better known by her professional name Anna Oliver, was an American preacher and activist who was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and was one of the first women to attempt full ordination in the church. Biography Oliver was born Vivianna Olivia Snowden near New Brunswick, New Jersey on April 12, 1840. She would later take the name Anna Oliver as to not embarrass her family by trying to be ordained as a minister. She was well educated in Brooklyn, New York where her family had moved, and received an MA with honors from Rutgers Female College. She went to Georgia with the American Missionary Association to teach black children, but left after a year to protest the pay gap between male and female teachers there. Andrew Allen Oliver (born December 3, 1987) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers. College Oliver was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 17th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft, but did not sign, opting instead to attend Oklahoma State University, where he played on the Oklahoma State Cowboys baseball team.
