Orduña-Urduña
Urduña/Orduña (; ) is an exclave and municipality of 4,232 inhabitants located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, in the North of Spain. Geography The municipality is an exclave of Biscay, surrounded entirely by the Basque province of Álava and the province of Burgos, part of Castile and León. It is located in a plain in the highest part of the Nervión river valley, at the foot of the Sierra Salvada mountains. The municipality contains the small exclave of Cerca de Villaño, surrounded by the neighbouring province of Burgos. Orduña is the final station of the commuter rail line C-3 that links the town with Bilbao. Arratia-Nerbioi ( Spanish: ''Arratia-Nervión'') is a comarca of the province of Biscay, in the Basque Country, Spain. It is formed by the valleys of the Arratia river and the Nervión river. Juan De Garay
Juan de Garay (1528–1583) was a Spanish conquistador. Garay's birthplace is disputed. Some say it was in the city of Junta de Villalba de Losa in Castile, while others argue he was born in the area of Orduña (Basque Country). There's no birth certification whatsoever, though Juan De Garay regarded himself as somebody from Biscay (a region from the Basque Country). He served under the Crown of Castille, in the Viceroyalty of Peru. He was governor of Asunción (present day Paraguay) and founded a number of cities in present-day Argentina, many near the Paraná River area, including the second foundation of Buenos Aires, in 1580.
