Open Arts Network
The Open Arts Network is a national network of membership-based arts organizations with the goals of sharing resources and reducing duplication of effort. The Open Arts Network was started by Fractured Atlas in 2004. Fractured Atlas discontinued the network in 2017. Fractured Atlas
Fractured Atlas is a non-profit technology company that provides business tools for artists. History Fractured Atlas was founded in 1998 by Executive Director Adam Huttler as a theater production company. Between 1998 and 2001, the company produced or presented numerous theatre, dance, and performance art shows in New York City. Fractured Atlas's final major production, Post-Traumatic Slave Syndrome, opened on September 7, 2001 at a theatre in lower Manhattan. Following the financial fallout of the September 11 terrorist attacks, Fractured Atlas began a shift from a production company to a service organization. Women's Caucus For Art
The Women's Caucus for Art (WCA), founded in 1972, is a non-profit organization based in New York City, which supports women artists, art historians, students, educators, and museum professionals. The WCA holds exhibitions and conferences to promote women artists and their works and recognizes the talents of artists through their annual Lifetime Achievement Award. Since 1975 it has been a United Nations-affiliated non-governmental organization (NGO), which has broadened its influence beyond the United States. Within the WCA are several special interest causes including the Women of Color caucus, Eco-Art Caucus, Jewish Women Artist Network, International Caucus and the Young Women's Caucus. Theatre Puget Sound
Theatre Puget Sound (TPS) is a not-for-profit organization devoted to supporting the performing arts in the Puget Sound area of Washington. It was founded in 1997. Both individuals and organizations can be members of Theatre Puget Sound. Currently, there are over 1500 individual members and over 140 organizations, including large regional theatres such as Seattle Repertory Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, Intiman Playhouse, 5th Avenue, and ACT Theatre, as well as small professional companies and community theatres throughout the region. Shooting People
Shooting People is an international social network for independent filmmakers that was founded in 1998 by Cath Le Couteur and Jess Search, in which members share resources and knowledge to get their films made and seen. Dedicated to the support and promotion of independent filmmaking, the company acts as an umbrella and partner for a variety of film organizations, publishing seven daily bulletins across all sectors of the industry. Additional activities include hosting the Independent Film Calendar, regular panel discussions, screenings, a Mobile Cinema and publication of "The Shooting People Shorts Directory".
