Andrew Wade
Andrew Robert Wade (born August 4, 1984) is an American recording engineer and music producer. Early years and A Wish for Marilynne (2002–2006) In August 2002, Wade started playing guitar and singing lead vocals in Christian rock/emo band A Wish for Marilynne. By September 2003, the band had written seven songs, three of which made it on to a demo tape, that was recorded four months prior.Robbins 2003, p. 74 In an interview with the ''Ocala Star-Banner'' the band said that once they had ten songs they were going to start recording, and Wade said "it's (going to) be a lot better than the demo." By this point, the group had performed a total of twelve shows. The band was signed to Rise Records and were influenced by bands such as Thrice, The Bled, All That Remains. They played their final show in Sarasota on March 6, 2010. Burden of a Day started as a worship band in church, until they were moved to reach out to people with their music. Most of the members of Burden of a Day are still together, working on their new, untitled album. These members include Morgan, Terry and Kyle. The upcoming album will be released under a new band name and with a fresh style of music. This band is called Colours and currently have three songs released on YouTube: "The Illusionist", "The Machine", and "The Passenger". Post-hardcore is a punk rock music genre that maintains the aggression and intensity of hardcore punk but emphasizes a greater degree of creative expression. Like the term " post-punk", the term "post-hardcore" has been applied to a broad constellation of groups. Initially taking inspiration from post-punk and noise rock, post-hardcore began in the 1980s with bands like Hüsker Dü and Minutemen. Rise Records is an American record label currently based in Beaverton, Oregon, mainly focusing on alternative rock, heavy metal, and punk rock music artists. History Rise was founded in 1991 by Craig Ericson in Nevada City, California. He released a small number of 7" records before putting the label on hiatus to attend college.
