Oleksandr Pyatnytsya
Oleksandr Serhiiovich Pyatnytsya (; born 14 July 1985 in Dnipropetrovsk) is a male javelin thrower from Ukraine. His personal best is 86.12 metres, achieved in May 2012 in Kyiv, which was a new national record. Career He won the bronze medal at the 2007 European U23 Championships and finished fifth at the 2009 World Athletics Final. He also competed at the 2009 and 2011 World Championships without reaching the final. He initially was awarded the silver medal in the javelin throw at the 2012 London Olympics with a throw of 84.51m. In 2016 a reanalysis of samples from the 2012 Olympics resulted in a positive test for the anabolic steroid turinabol. He was stripped of his title by the IOC and ordered to return his silver medal, medalist pin and diploma. In May 2017, he was disqualified for two years, due to doping violations. Eastern Ukraine Campaign
Ukraine's easternmost oblasts, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv, have been the site of an ongoing theatre of operation since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The 2010 European Athletics Championships were the 20th edition of the European Athletics Championships, organised under the supervision of the European Athletic Association. Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone (CDMT; brand name Oral Turinabol), also known as 4-chloro-17β-hydroxy17α-methylandrosta-1,4-dien-3-one, is an anabolic–androgenic steroid (AAS). The 7th IAAF World Athletics Final was held at the Kaftanzoglio Stadium in Thessaloniki, Greece on September 12 and September 13, 2009. The competition represented the culmination of the 2009 IAAF World Athletics Tour, a selection of athletics meetings which began on September 20, 2008 at the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix. The Hellenic Amateur Athletic Association (SEGAS) won the rights to hold the event in April 2008. The competitors in each event were decided by the final standings of the 2009 World Athletics Tour.
