Oleksandr Bornyakov (; born March 1, 1982) is a Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on IT industry development, Head of Diia.City project, co-founder of the WannaBiz business accelerator. Education Oleksandr studied at the Kyiv National Aviation University with a degree in Marketing and holds an MBA from the University of New Brunswick, Canada as well as MPA from Columbia University. Bolhrad
Bolhrad (, ; ; , ) is a small city in Odesa Oblast (province) of southwestern Ukraine, in the historical region of Budjak. It is the administrative center of Bolhrad Raion (district) and hosts the administration of Bolhrad urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Diia ( , ; also an acronym for , , ) is a mobile app, a web portal and a brand of e-governance in Ukraine. Launched in 2020, the Diia app allows Ukrainian citizens to use digital documents on their smartphones instead of physical ones for identification and sharing purposes. The Diia portal allows access to over 130 government services. Eventually, the government plans to make all kinds of state-person interactions available through Diia.
