Okpe
Okpe is a kingdom in Delta State, Nigeria. Today, it is also the name of a local government area. It is one of the many kingdoms that make up Urhobo nation. Its capital is Orerokpe. The kingdom plays host to the Osubi Airport (also known as Warri Airport), which is actually located at Osubi and the Delta State Trade Fair Complex. The Orodje celebrated ten years on ancestral throne. Major General Felix Mujakperuo is the king of Okpe Kingdom. The kingship is usually rotated between the four ruling houses. History The Okpe kingdom was established as early as the 17th century. It has a traditional ruler with the title Orodje of Okpe. The Okpe people are known to have migrated to found the present day Sapele and the Orodje of Okpe still exercises authority over the land of Sapele. The first king produced by this system was H.R.M. Urhobo People
The Urhobos are a people located in southern Nigeria, near the northwestern Niger Delta. They are the major ethnic group in Delta State. The people of this ethnic group speak the Urhobo language. Their population is approximately 7 million. The Urhobo people live in a territory bounded by latitudes 6° and 5°, 15° North and Longitudes 5°, 40° and 6°, 25° East in the Delta and Bayelsa States of Nigeria. Their neighbors are the Isoko to the southeast, the Itsekiri and Ijaw to the west, the Edo people to the north, the Ijaw to the south and the Ukwuani people to the northeast. Sapele, Nigeria
Sapele is a primary town and one of the Local Government Areas of Delta State, Nigeria. Sapele city '' əpā´lē' (1991 est. pop. 123,000) is a port in the Niger Delta region of Southern Nigeria along the Ethiope River in western Delta State. The main town is located 68 km south of Benin City and is connected to Warri and Benin by the A2 federal highway. The center of the Nigerian timber industry, Sapele houses sawmills and a large plywood and veneer factory where rubber is processed. The city also houses industry for the manufacture of plastics, chemicals, and shoes. The Sapele Township Stadium was completed in 2013. It has a seating capacity of 10,000 visitors. Delta State

Patrick Aziza
Patrick Aziza (23 December 1947 – 16 August 2014) was the first military Governor of Kebbi State, Nigeria after it was split off from Sokoto State on 27 August 1991 during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida. Birth and early career Aziza was born in Okpe local Government Area in Delta State on 23 December 1947. He was raised in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. He went to Ibadan for his secondary education before joining the Army and participating in the Nigerian Civil War (1967–1970). Aziza then attended the Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna, graduating in 1970. He was commissioned 2nd lieutenant and promoted to lieutenant in 1970, and was posted to the 3rd Marine Commando. Osubi Airport
Osubi Airstrip is an aviation facility located in Osubi, within Okpe Local Government, serving the city of Effurun, Warri and its environs in Delta State, Nigeria. It is about northeast of the city. Osubi is a town in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, Southern Nigeria. The runway length does not include a displaced threshold/overrun on each end, making the total paved length . Osubi
Osubi is a town in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta state, southern Nigeria. The population is approximately over 8000 people. Osubi Airport is located in Osubi. There is a rapid infrastructural development around the airport region due to the closeness and prominence to the Niger Delta oil-producing area of Nigeria. Harris Otadafevwerha Deodemise Eghagha (8 March 1934 – 19 March 2009) was a Nigerian general who was appointed military governor of Ogun State from July 1978 to October 1979 during the military regime of General Olusegun Obasanjo, handing over power to the elected governor, Olabisi Onabanjo, at the start of the Nigerian Second Republic. Joseph Karakitie Azigbo
Joseph Karakitie Azigbo (1918–1986) was a Nigerian business magnate and notable figure within the Okpe Kingdom of Nigeria. In the early 1950s, Azigbo achieved substantial success as an industrial entrepreneur-a position that made him attain a level of affluence within Nigeria. However, his life was marked by the Nigerian Civil War, during which a considerable portion of his assets were either confiscated or damaged by the Nigerian army. Early life and career in business Azigbo was born in Orerokpe on December 29, 1918. He worked with the United African Company (UAC) in Jos before establishing his mining business (Azigbo Brothers Limited). He soon became very successful in the mining field and became one of the richest men in Nigeria in the 1950s.
