Nuestra Belleza Latina 2011
''Nuestra Belleza Latina 2011'' was the fifth season of '' Nuestra Belleza Latina'' and the fifth season to be aired on Univision. The season premiered on Sunday March 6, 2011 at 8pm/7c and concluded on May 22, 2011. Auditions for the show were held in January and February 2011 in the cities of Chicago, San Antonio, New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the audition process, 73 women were given passes to the semi-finals in Miami. Two contestants were chosen from online Auditions, with the help of public votes. The winner of the competition was Nastassja Bolívar from Nicaragua. She received a contract with Univision, $250,000 in cash and prizes, a correspondent position on '' El Gordo y la Flaca'' and the opportunity to reign as Nuestra Belleza Latina for a year. Osmel Ricardo Souza Mancilla (born 26 September 1946) is a Cuban-Venezuelan beauty pageant entrepreneur, and the former president of the Miss Venezuela Organization. ''Nuestra Belleza Latina 2010'' is the fourth season of ''Nuestra Belleza Latina'' and also the fourth season to be aired on Univision. The season premiere was Tuesday March 9, 2010 at 10pm/9c. It had been speculated that the show was moving to Tuesdays as its original time.The show will continue Sundays at 8pm/7c. The auditions were shown Tuesday, March 9 and Thursday March 11 10pm/9c. Auditions were once again held in five major US cities (Los Angeles, California; Dallas, Texas; Miami, Florida; Chicago, Illinois; and New York City, New York) and in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the audition process, 73 young women were given passes to the semi-finals in Miami. The final two tickets were given after an online voting took place February 26, 2010. Lupus, technically known as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), is an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue in many parts of the body. Mexicana Universal is a national beauty pageant in Mexico held annually since 2018, replacing the former pageant, Nuestra Belleza México, held since 1994.
