Nothing is an American shoegaze band that formed in 2010. The band self-released several EPs before signing to Relapse Records. They released their debut studio album, '' Guilty of Everything'', in 2014. The follow-up album, ''Tired of Tomorrow'', was released on in 2016. Nothing's third studio album, '' Dance on the Blacktop'', was released in 2018, and their fourth studio album, '' The Great Dismal'', was released in 2020. History Nothing founder Domenic "Nicky" Palermo was previously a member of the hardcore punk band Horror Show. The short-lived band only released a pair of EPs through Jacob Bannon of Converge's Deathwish Inc. label during its existence. Horror Show was put on hold in 2002 when a 20-year old Palermo stabbed a man during a fight between two rival gangs and spent two years in jail for aggravated assault and attempted murder; Palermo claimed self-defense. American Nightmare (briefly known as Give Up the Ghost) is an American hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts. They have released three albums, one EP and a compilation of earlier released material under the name American Nightmare. Nothing, the complete absence of anything, has been a matter of philosophical debate since at least the 5th century BC. Early Greek philosophers argued that it was impossible for ''nothing'' to exist. The atomists allowed ''nothing'' but only in the spaces between the invisibly small atoms. For them, all space was filled with atoms. Aristotle took the view that there exists matter and there exists space, a receptacle into which matter objects can be placed. Gouge Away is an American hardcore punk band based in Florida that formed in 2012. The band is influenced by post-hardcore and noise rock bands such as The Jesus Lizard, Fugazi, Unwound, The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower and Nirvana. Gouge Away released its debut album '', Dies'' in 2016 to underground acclaim, and released its second album '' Burnt Sugar'' through Deathwish Inc. in 2018. Cloakroom is an American shoegaze band from Northwest Indiana. They are currently signed to Relapse Records. History The band formed in June 2012. Lead singer and guitarist Doyle Martin was previously in the bands Grown Ups and Lion of the North, and bassist Bobby Markos was in the band Native. The band signed to Run For Cover Records in 2013. The band released their first extended play, titled ''Infinity'', in 2013 via Run For Cover. In 2014, the band released a single "Lossed Over," also on Run For Cover. On January 20, 2015, the band released their debut album, ''Further Out'', via Run For Cover Records. The album was produced by Matt Talbott of the band Hum. Jesus Piece is an American metalcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in 2015. They are known for their chaotic live shows and signed to Southern Lord Records in 2018 with the release of their debut ''Only Self''. Deafheaven
Deafheaven is an American post-metal band formed in 2010. Originally based in San Francisco, the group began as a two-piece with singer George Clarke and guitarist Kerry McCoy, who recorded and self-released a demo album together.
