"Not Too Young, Not Too Old" is a pop song recorded by singer Aaron Carter. Produced by Scorpio and Mystery, the track was released in September 2001 as the second single off Carter's third album ''Oh Aaron''. "Not Too Young, Not Too Old" is Carter's second song to feature vocals from his older brother Nick Carter (musician), Nick, who sings the chorus. The song failed to appear on any Billboard (magazine), ''Billboard'' charts but managed to reach number 80 in Australia. Sample used The song samples "B to the I" by Billie Piper, Billie and uses the Auto-Tune effect. Music video A music video was produced to promote the single and was directed by Andrew MacNaughtan (who previously directed three other Aaron Carter videos). The video features Aaron and his brother fooling around with each other and with girls while dancing in front of a big neon sign of Aaron's name. Aaron Charles Carter (December 7, 1987November 5, 2022) was an American singer and rapper. He came to fame as a teen pop singer in the late 1990s, establishing himself as a star among preteen and teenage audiences during the first years of the 21st century, with his four studio albums. Carter began performing at age seven, after the formation of his brother Nick's group the Backstreet Boys, and released his self-titled debut album in 1997 at age nine, selling a million copies worldwide. His second album '' Aaron's Party (Come Get It)'' (2000) sold three million copies in the United States, and Carter began making guest appearances on Nickelodeon and touring with the Backstreet Boys shortly after the record's release.
