Noah Eagle
Noah Eagle (born December 11, 1997) is an American sportscaster. The son of sportscaster Ian Eagle, he is a play-by-play broadcaster for Fox Sports and the Tennis Channel. At Fox, Eagle calls various sports including the NFL and college football. He is also the radio voice of the Los Angeles Clippers, and the play-by-play announcer for the NFL on Nickelodeon. Prior to joining Fox Sports in 2022, Eagle was the play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports #2 broadcasting team for college football. Early life Growing up, Eagle intended to follow in his father Ian's footsteps and pursue a career in broadcasting. A basketball fan, Eagle would shadow his father when he called NBA games. Carter Blackburn (born March 30, 1979) is an American sportscaster. He currently works for CBS Sports after leaving ESPN in 2014. Early life and education Blackburn was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in Kerrville, in the Texas Hill Country near San Antonio. Blackburn began his broadcasting career at KERV/KRVL radio during his sophomore year at Tivy High School. By his junior year in high school, he was sports director for the radio station, doing morning drive-time reports on area high school sports and Texas college and pro teams as well as providing play-by-play for radio and TV for football, basketball, softball, and baseball. 2022 MLB Postseason
The 2022 Major League Baseball postseason was the postseason tournament of Major League Baseball (MLB) for the 2022 season. This was the first edition of the postseason since 2012 to have a new format, as it has been expanded to include six teams per league. The top two seeds of the American and National leagues receive first-round byes into the Division Series and the other two division winners are the third seed in their respective league. The three Wild Card teams are the fourth, fifth and sixth seeds. The third seed hosts the sixth seed in a best-of-three Wild Card series, and the fourth seed does the same with the fifth seed. The postseason started on Friday, October 7, two days after the end of the regular season.
