Nicanor Duarte
Óscar Nicanor Duarte Frutos (born 11 October 1956) is a Paraguayan politician who served as President of Paraguay from 2003 to 2008. In 2013, President Horacio Cartes appointed Duarte as Ambassador to Argentina, a diplomatic posting he held from 2013 until 2016. Duarte currently holds the title of Senator for life. Duarte, who attended the Mennonite church, was Paraguay's first non-Catholic president. Nikanor Teratologen ("Nikanor the teratologist"), real name Niclas Lundkvist, born 27 October 1964 in Kåge, Västerbotten, is a Swedish novelist, essayist, translator and literary critic. His 1992 debut novel ''Assisted Living'' received considerable publicity in Sweden for its transgressive content and advanced use of language, which created a literary scandal and led to speculation about its author. Career Nikanor Teratologen debuted in 1992 with the novel ''Assisted Living'' (''Äldreomsorgen i Övre Kågedalen'', lit. Nicanor Zabaleta
Nicanor Zabaleta (January 7, 1907 – April 1, 1993) was a Spanish harpist. Zabaleta was born in San Sebastián, Spain, on January 7, 1907. In 1914 his father, an amateur musician, bought him a harp in an antique shop. He soon began taking lessons from Vincenta Tormo de Calvo (Madrid Conservatory faculty) and Luisa Menarguez. In 1925 he began studies in Paris, where his teachers were Marcel Tournier and Jacqueline Borot. In 1926, in Paris, he made his own official concert debut. Then he travelled to the U.S. and there, on July 5, 1934 he made his North America debut in New York City. At a concert in Puerto Rico in 1950 he met Graziela and they were married in 1952. Nicanor G. Tiongson is a critic, creative writer and academic from the Philippines. He holds a Bachelor of Humanities degree from the Ateneo de Manila University, and M.A. and Ph.D. in Philippine Studies from the University of the Philippines. Nicanor Segundo Parra Sandoval (5 September 1914 – 23 January 2018) was a Chilean poet and physicist. Nicanor Costa Méndez (October 30, 1922 – August 3, 1992) was an Argentine diplomat. Costa Méndez was born into a privileged background in Buenos Aires, in 1922. He attended the University of Buenos Aires, graduating with a Law Degree in 1943. He went on to receive his '' juris doctor'' and opened a law practice. Costa Méndez served as the Argentine ambassador to Chile from 1962 to 1964, and chargé d'affaires and ambassador to the Republic of China (Taiwan) from 1965 to 1966. The Yekaterinoslav Governorate (russian: Екатеринославская губерния, Yekaterinoslavskaya guberniya; uk, Катеринославська губернія, translit=Katerynoslavska huberniia) or Government of Yekaterinoslav was a governorate in the Russian Empire. A common name for it in Ukrainian was Katerynoslavshchyna. Its capital was the city of Yekaterinoslav (Katerynoslav in Ukrainian, modern Dnipro). Today its territory is part of Ukraine.
