Nightshade (DC Comics)
Nightshade is a fictional character, a comic book superhero published by DC Comics. Created by David Kaler and Steve Ditko, the character first appeared in ''Captain Atom'' #82 (September 1966) originally published by Charlton Comics. Publication history Charlton Comics Nightshade was first introduced in ''Captain Atom'' #82, as a partner for the titular hero. Her real name is Eve Eden and her father is a U.S. senator. She is blonde and wears a black wig as Nightshade. She was romantically involved with Captain Atom for a brief time. She appeared several times in Captain Atom stories, before getting her own backup series in the last three published issues (#87-89). She also appeared in the last unpublished Captain Atom story that appeared in the fanzine '' Charlton Bullseye''. Marvel Comics is an American comic book publishing, publisher and the flagship property of Marvel Entertainment, a divsion of The Walt Disney Company since September 1, 2009. Jim Aparo
James N. Aparo (August 24, 1932 – July 19, 2005) was an American comic book artist, best known for his DC Comics work from the late 1960s through the 1990s, including on the characters Batman, Aquaman, and the Spectre, along with famous stories such as ''The Brave and the Bold,'' "A Death in the Family"'''', and "KnightFall". Early life Jim Aparo was born on August 24th, 1932, Aparo was raised in New Britain, Connecticut, Aparo took art classes at New Britain high school and while also taking courses at Hartford Art School. Aparo was primarily self-taught by studying and copying comic books. Growing up and taking inspiration from characters such as Superman, Batman, and Captain Marvel. Aparo was influenced by artists such as Alex Raymond and Milton Caniff. Aparo started his comic career later than most artists around the time working in advertising first while sending his art to various comic book publishers.
