Nesebar Municipality
Nesebar Municipality ( bg, Община Несебър, ) is a Bulgarian municipality comprising the northern part of the Black Sea coast of Burgas Province, Bulgaria. Its northern border is with the municipalities of Byala and Dolni Chiflik, its western border — with the municipality of Pomorie, and its eastern border is the Black Sea. Proximity to an international airport, as well as the long coastline and its diverse character create favourable conditions for the development of tourism. It is now the most popular tourist destination in the Balkan Peninsula and one of the most popular in Europe. There are 150 hotels with 70,000 beds, 35,000 beds in private accommodation, more than 1000 cafés and restaurants. The municipal centre is Nesebar, located 20 km from Burgas International Airport. Municipalities Of Bulgaria
The 28 provinces of Bulgaria are divided into 265 municipalities (община, ''obshtina''). Municipalities typically comprise multiple towns, villages and settlements and are governed by a mayor who is elected by popular majority vote for a four-year term, and a municipal council which is elected using proportional representation for a four-year term. Obzor
Obzor ( bg, Обзор ) is a small town and seaside resort on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. It is part of Nesebar Municipality, Burgas Province. On February 28th, 2021, the citizens of Obzor and six nearby villages voted in a referendum to separate from Nesebar Municipality and form an independent municipality, centred on Obzor. Voting activity was 76.02% and approximately 70% of people voted for independence. The Thracian and ancient Greek name of Obzor was . It was a small port on the coast of Thrace, a colony of Mesembria. The ancient Romans named it ''Templum Iovis'' (Temple of Jupiter); Pliny called it ''Tetranaulochus''. Priseltsi
Priseltsi - Burgas Province ( bg, Приселци) is a village in South- East Bulgaria, situated in Obshtina Nessebar, in the Burgas region. Priseltsi is an 8km/10 minute drive from the town of Obzor, a seaside town with much development in progress. It is known for its clean fresh air, rural freedom, clear night skies and unique wildlife and nature. There are quite a few newly built, modern houses and some older ones in need of repair. A small church has been built and paid for by the local inhabitants, most of which are elderly and all of which are warm and kind-hearted. Pavements are currently being upgraded at the north end of the village. There is one small shop/café which is only open on certain days and there are always plenty of farm animals running free around the village.
