Route description Nebraska Highway 110 begins at an intersection with Nebraska Highway 35, NE 35 west of Dakota City, Nebraska, Dakota City. The route heads directly northward through farmland for its short route of , crossing a BNSF Railway line along the way. N-110 terminates at an intersection with U.S. Highway 20 in Nebraska, US 20. Dakota City is a city in Dakota County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 1,919 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Dakota County. Tyson Foods' largest beef production plant is located in Dakota City. History Dakota City was platted in 1856. It was named for the Dakota people. Dakota City was incorporated as a city in 1858. Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Dakota City is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. On May 1, 2020, 669 workers at the local Tyson Foods meat packaging plant were infected with COVID-19 which resulted in the closure of the plant until May 4 for the sanitation to take place.
