Neaua ( hu, Havad, ) is a commune in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania composed of five villages: *Ghinești / Geges *Neaua *Rigmani / Rigmány *Sânsimion / Nyárádszentsimon *Vădaș / Vadasd Demographics The commune has an absolute Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 2011 census, it has a population of 1,369, of which 89.4% are Hungarian and 7.5% are Roma. Mureș County (, ro, Județul Mures, hu, Maros megye) is a county (''județ'') of Romania, in the historical region of Transylvania, with the administrative centre in Târgu Mureș. The county was established in 1968, after the administrative reorganization that re-introduced the historical ''judeţ'' (county) system, still used today. This reform eliminated the previous Mureș-Magyar Autonomous Region, which had been created in 1952 within the People's Republic of Romania.
