Natsuki Takaya
(born July 7, 1973) is a Japanese manga artist best known for creating the series ''Fruits Basket''. Takaya was born and raised in Tokyo, where she made her debut as a manga artist in 1992. Takaya is left handed and had wanted to be a manga artist since first grade, when her sister started drawing. Her manga series ''Fruits Basket'', which debuted in 1998, became one of the best selling manga in North America. ''Fruits Basket'' has also been adapted into an anime series twice; the first, which premiered in 2001, aired as one season of twenty six episodes. The second, which premiered in 2019, consists of two seasons of twenty five episodes and the third season comprised 13 episodes and concluded in 2021. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya; it serves as a sequel to Takaya's previous work ''Fruits Basket''. It was serialized on the ''HanaLaLa Online'' manga website from September 2015 to August 2017 and on the ''Manga Park'' website from August 2017 to April 2020. The series' individual chapters were collected into four volumes. The sequel was originally created by Takaya to promote the main series' collector's edition and did not feature the main cast from the main series. Plot Liselotte is an exiled noble woman who, despite her status, is completely incompetent at handling things independently.
