National University Bulldogs
The National University Bulldogs are the collegiate men's varsity teams of National University in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. The collegiate women's varsity teams are called the ''Lady Bulldogs'' while the high school varsity teams are called the ''Bullpups''. The National University Athletic Director is Rustico “Otie” Camangian. Team identity Team monikers National University is one of the eight UAAP member schools that participate in different sporting events of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Bulldog is the mascot of all the varsity teams participating in these sporting events. The National University (NU), colloquially ''National U'', is a private non–sectarian coeducational university located in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines. The founder of the university, Mariano F. Jhocson Sr., established the institution on August 1, 1900, as ''Colegio Filipino'' in Quiapo, Manila, Quiapo, Manila. Track And Field
Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. The name is derived from where the sport takes place, a running track and a grass field for the throwing and some of the jumping events. Siot Tanquingcen
Bethune "Siot" Tanquingcen is a Filipino professional basketball head coach. He is currently an assistant coach for the Benilde Blazers. As coach, Tanquingcen has won three PBA championships: two with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel ( 2004 Fiesta Conference and 2004–2005 Philippine Cup) and one with the San Miguel Beermen ( 2009 Fiesta Conference). The De La Salle Green Archers (also known simply as the Green Archers) are the men's varsity teams representing De La Salle University in the Philippines. The women's varsity teams are generally referred to as the De La Salle Lady Archers. The school's varsity teams participate in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, among others. La Salle is represented in the high school level by De La Salle Zobel, and are known as the Zobel Junior Archers. Allan Vito Flores Caidic (born June 15, 1963) is a Filipino former professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association. He is considered by many to be the greatest shooter the country has ever produced, thus, earning the moniker, ''"The Triggerman"''. He played college hoops at the University of the East before joining the PBA in 1987, where he broke several Philippine and PBA all-time records—including the most points scored in a single game (79 points), the most three-point field goals made in a single game (17 triples; breaking his previous record of 15 triples), the most consecutive freethrows made (76), and the most three-point field goals in a career (1,242 triples; later surpassed by Jimmy Alapag). Jeff Napa
Jeff Napa (born September 19, 1981) is a Filipino professional basketball player and coach. He is the current head coach of the NU Bulldogs in the UAAP and currently serving as an assistant for the NorthPort Batang Pier in the PBA. He previously coached the Letran Knights in the NCAA. Playing career Jeff Napa was part of the first-ever NU Bulldogs men's basketball team that made it to the Final Four phase of the UAAP basketball tournament in UAAP Season 64. Danilo Ildefonso (born December 9, 1976) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He is currently an assistant coach for both the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the NU Bulldogs of the UAAP.
