Pennsylvania Route 68 (PA 68) is a east–west state highway located in western Pennsylvania in the United States. The western terminus of the route is at the Ohio state line west of Glasgow, where PA 68 continues into Ohio as State Route 39 (SR 39). The eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 322 (US 322) in Clarion. The route runs southwest-northeast across Beaver, Butler, Armstrong, and Clarion counties. PA 68 follows the Ohio River between the Ohio border and Beaver, where it crosses the Beaver River into Rochester and heads northeast away from the Ohio River. The route runs through rural areas to Butler County, where it intersects Interstate 79 (I-79) in Zelienople before serving Evans City and Butler. PA 68 passes through a section of Armstrong County before crossing the Allegheny River into Clarion County. Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania
Sugarcreek Township is a township in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,336 at the 2020 census, a decrease from the figure of 1,539 tabulated in 2010. History Sugarcreek Township and most of the surrounding areas were originally settled in the early 18th century by emigrants from Ireland. St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Sugar Creek Township appears in the 1876 Atlas of Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Geography Sugarcreek Township is located in northwestern Armstrong County. Its western border is the Butler County line, and it touches the Allegheny River at its northeast corner. Pennsylvania Route 268 (PA 268) is a state highway located in Armstrong, Butler, and Venango counties in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at U.S. Route 422 (US 422) in West Kittanning. The northern terminus is at PA 38/ PA 208 in Emlenton. Route description PA 268 goes by many names along its route. The names along the route include Kittanning to Butler County Line Road, Kepples Corner Road, Main Street, Jamison Street, Argyle Street, and School Street. The route starts just outside the borough of West Kittanning at an interchange with US 422.
