The National Enterprise Corporation (NEC) is a state-owned corporation in Uganda. It is the commercial arm of the Uganda People's Defence Force. NEC was established in 1989 by an Act of the Parliament of Uganda. The Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF), previously known as the National Resistance Army, is the armed forces of Uganda. The Kenya Shipyards Limited (KSL) is a state-owned corporation in Kenya. It is a limited liability parastatal company, under the Kenya Ministry of Defence. The company was created by Executive Order CAB/GEN.3/1/1 (60), on 14 August 2020. The primary objective of KSL is to build, repair and service water vessels (ships and boats) of the Kenyan Navy. Lieutenant General
Lieutenant general (Lt Gen, LTG and similar) is a three-star military rank (NATO code OF-8) used in many countries.
