National Council Of Teachers Of English
The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) is a United States professional organization dedicated to "improving the teaching and learning of English and the language arts at all levels of education. National Journalism Day, also known as National Day on Writing, is a United States national celebration of writing which first took place on November 12, 2009, with a second year celebration on November 12, 2010. Sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and officially recognized in both 2009 and 2010 through Senate resolutions, The National Day of Journalism asks Americans to consider the role in writing in everyday life.
