The Resident Identity Card () is an official identity document for personal identification in the People's Republic of China. According to the second chapter, tenth clause of the ''Resident Identity Card Law'', residents are required to apply for resident identity cards from the local Public Security Bureau, sub-bureaus or local executive police stations. History Prior to 1984, citizens within the People's Republic of China were not required to obtain or carry identification in public. A national identity document is an identity card with a photo, usable as an identity card at least inside the country, and which is issued by an official authority. Driver's licenses and other cards issued by regional governments indicating certain permissions are not counted here as national identity cards. In computing, endianness, also known as byte sex, is the order or sequence of bytes of a word of digital data in computer memory. Gregorian Calendar
The Gregorian calendar is the calendar used in most parts of the world. It was introduced in October 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII as a modification of, and replacement for, the Julian calendar. The principal change was to space leap years differently so as to make the average calendar year 365.2425 days long, more closely approximating the 365.2422-day 'tropical' or 'solar' year that is determined by the Earth's revolution around the Sun.
