Nate Livings
Nathaniel Joseph Livings (born March 16, 1982) is a former American football guard in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Louisiana State University. Early years Livings attended Washington-Marion Magnet High School where he played defensive tackle. As a senior, he was named All-Southwest Louisiana after registering 124 tackles and 5 sacks. He had academic eligibility problems and instead of going to a junior college, chose to sit out two full years taking correspondence courses. He received a scholarship from Louisiana State University, where he was a three-year starter and played every offensive line position except center. He appeared in 38 games (34 starts) and was a part of the 2003 championship team. Guard (American Football)
In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center and the tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The guard's job is to protect the quarterback from the incoming linemen during pass plays, as well as creating openings (holes) for the running backs to head through. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured. Kyle Kosier (; born November 27, 1978) is a former American football guard who played in 143 games in the National Football League (NFL) for the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, and Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Arizona State University. Early and personal life Kosier was born in Peoria, Arizona, to Keith (a recycler) and Marlene Kosier, and is Jewish, as is his mother.
