Narada Disasekara
Narada Disasekara (7 June 1933 – 19 May 2010) was a Sri Lankan classical singer. He was the first singer to win the Sarasaviya Award when he was awarded for Best Male Playback Singing in 1964 for his duet ''Galana Gangaki Jeevithe'' with a young Nanda Malini for ''Ranmuthu Duwa''. Personal life He completed education from Kalutara Vidyalaya. Narada's sister's son is Nalendra Amarasinghe and his wife is Girlie. Narada was good at sports like cricket during school times. He also studied music and played violin under the school teacher Seemon Lokuliyana. Disasekara was first married to radio host and actress Tileka Ranasinghe in 1979. The couple has one son, Saranga. Saranga Disasekara became a popular actor since his debut in ''Nil Diya Yahana'' in 2009. He then acted in many films and television serials and won most popular actor award in multiple times. Saranga Disasekara ( si, සාරංග දිසාසේකර) (born 31 January 1983) is a Sri Lankan actor, singer, model and a host by profession. Saranga was awarded the most popular television actor in Sri Lanka award at Sumathi Awards, Raigam Tele'es and SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards in several times. Mirihana Arachchige Nanda Malini Perera ( Sinhala:නන්දා මාලනී: born 23 August 1943), popularly as Nanda Malini, is a Sri Lankan songstress and playback singer. One of the best known and most honored singers of Sri Lanka, Malini's choice of singing themes are based on real life and social-cultural situations. Ranmuthu Duwa
''Ranmuthu Duwa'' ( en, Island of Treasures) was the first colour full-length Sinhalese language film to be produced in Sri Lanka in 1962. It was co-produced by Shesha Palihakkara, Arthur C. Clarke and directed by Mike Wilson, who also made his debut as a feature director. The film stars some of those who would go on to become big names in the Sinhala Cinema, such as Gamini Fonseka, Joe Abeywickrema and Jeevarani Kurukulasuriya in the leading roles. Playback singing was by Nanda Malini, Narada Disasekara and W.D. Amaradeva. The lyrics were written by Chandraratne Manawasinghe. Kalutara Vidyalaya ( si, කළුතර විද්යාලය) is a Buddhist boys' school in Kalutara, Sri Lanka. The college was founded in 1941 by Sir Cyril De Zoysa. It is a national school providing primary and secondary education. History Kalutara Vidyalaya was founded in Kalutara on 13 January 1941 by Sir Cyril De Zoysa. The college was formed as the twin brother of Kalutara Balika Vidyalaya, the girls' school. On 13 January 1941 the college officially started with 11 teachers and 56 students. After only six months, the college became a senior secondary school. At the beginning, Kalutara Vidyalaya at the Martin Bungalow was a mixed school.
