Nakia Griffin-Stewart
Nakia Griffin-Stewart (born November 12, 1996) is an American football tight end who is a free agent. He played college football for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the Pitt Panthers. Nakia added the name Stewart to his last name in honor of his step-father in 2015 at the beginning of his college football career. Raised in Tenafly, New Jersey, Griffin-Stewart played prep football at Tenafly High School. Professional career Minnesota Vikings Griffin-Stewart was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2020. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic.
