''Nadhi Karaiyinile'' () is a 2003 Tamil language drama film, written and directed by Ponvannan. The film, which had an initial release at international film festivals with the title ''Jameela'', stars Suvalakshmi, Rajan P. Dev and Ramji. Sara Aboobacker ( kn, ಸಾರಾ ಅಬೂಬಕ್ಕರ್; 30 June 1936 – 10 January 2023) was an Indian Kannada writer of novels and short stories, and a translator. Early life and education Sara was born in Kasaragod, Kerala on 30 June 1936, to Pudiyapuri Ahmad and Zainabi Ahmad. She had four brothers. She was one of the first girls in her community of Muslim families in Kasaragod to be educated, graduating from a local Kannada school. She was married after school, and went on to have four sons. Aboobacker once stated that her desire to further her education was constrained by community norms that restricted female access to higher education, and that she was only able to obtain a library membership in 1963. Tamil Nadu State Film Awards were given for excellence in Tamil cinema in India. They were given annually to honour the best talents and provide encouragement and incentive to the South Indian film industry by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The awards were decided by a committee headed by a Judge. The awards were first given in 1967 and discontinued after 1970. The awards were given again in 1977 and continued till 1982. The awards were not given in the years 1971 to 1976.
