NAACP Image Award
The NAACP Image Awards is an annual awards ceremony presented by the U.S.-based National Association for the Advancement of Colored People ( NAACP) to honor outstanding performances in film, television, theatre, music, and literature. Similar to other awards, like the Oscars and the Grammys, the over 40 categories of the Image Awards are voted on by the award organization's members (in this case, NAACP members). Honorary awards (similar to the Academy Honorary Award) have also been included, such as the President's Award, the Chairman's Award, the Entertainer of the Year, and the Hall of Fame Award. Anthony Sparks
Anthony Sparks is an American television showrunner, writer-producer, and playwright. He is also an essay writer who focuses on media, performance, and African American politics and culture. He also holds a Ph.D. in American Studies & Ethnicity from USC and began his career as an actor in classical theatre and was also a lead performer in New York in the hit show ''Stomp'' and in the Emmy winning HBO film ''Stomp Out Loud''. Sparks is also a committed educator in the fields of film, television, African American studies, and American Studies. He has taught screenwriting and cultural studies at USC, Occidental College, and California State University, Fullerton. Alexander Woo is an American writer and producer for television. Biography Screenwriting Alexander Woo is best known for writing several episodes of the HBO drama series ''True Blood''. In an interview, Woo describes the "True Blood" writing room: "Every writer's room is different. True Blood has a relatively small writing team, so the chemistry between the writers is crucial to the style and tone of the show. Zoanne Clack (born July 14, 1968), also known as Zoanne Arnette, is an American television producer, writer, story editor, actress, and medical doctor/consultant. "Lucky Thirteen" is the fifth episode of the fifth season of '' House'' and the ninety-first episode overall. It aired on October 21, 2008. Plot Spencer, a woman with whom Thirteen is having a one-night stand, has a seizure at Thirteen's apartment.
