Nándor Gúr
Nándor Gúr (born 25 December 1957) is a Hungarian mechanical engineer and politician, member of the National Assembly from the Hungarian Socialist Party from 2002 to 2018. Work experience Nándor Gúr finished Bláthy Ottó Secondary Technical School of Heavy Current in Miskolc in 1976. He graduated as a factory-technician production engineer from the Chemical Industry and Automation College Faculty of the University of Miskolc in 1980. He worked for the Machine and Factory Technician Firm of Miskolc as a works manager from 1980 to 1981, then he was the building engineer of ÁFÉSZ Purchase and Sales Cooperative from 1981 to 1986. National Assembly Of Hungary
The National Assembly ( ) is the parliament of Hungary. The unicameral body consists of 199 (386 between 1990 and 2014) members elected to four-year terms. Election of members is done using a semi-proportional representation: a mixed-member majoritarian representation with partial scorporo, compensation via transfer votes and mixed single vote; involving single-member districts and one list vote; parties must win at least 5% of the popular vote in order to gain list seats. The Assembly includes 25 standing committees to debate and report on introduced bills and to supervise the activities of the ministers. 2010 Hungarian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Hungary on 11 and 25 April 2010 to elect the members of the National Assembly. They were the sixth free elections since the end of the communist era. 386 Members of Parliament (MPs) were elected in a combined system of party lists and electoral constituencies. Electoral law in Hungary requires candidates to gather 500 signatures from citizens supporting their candidacy. In the first round of the elections, the conservative party Fidesz won the absolute majority of seats, enough to form a government on its own. In the second round, the alliance of Fidesz and the Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP) won enough seats to achieve a two-thirds majority required to modify major laws and the country's constitution. Csaba Horváth (born 19 November 1969) is a Hungarian politician. Biography He served as the mayor of the 2nd district of Budapest from 2002 to 2006, and as Deputy Mayor of Budapest during the last term of Mayor Gábor Demszky, between 2007 and 2009. He was elected member of the National Assembly (MP) from the Budapest Regional List of the Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP) in 2002, holding the position until his resignation in 2010. He was the MSZP's candidate for the position of Mayor of Budapest in the 2010 municipal election, but defeated by Fidesz-candidate István Tarlós. Thereafter he became leader of the Socialists' group in the General Assembly of Budapest. Edelény
Edelény is a town in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Northern Hungary. It lies in the valley of Bódva River, north of the county seat, Miskolc. The historic L'Huillier-Coburg Palace is located there. History The area has been inhabited since ancient times (Paleolithic stone tools were found here). Edelény was first mentioned in 1299, but the village of Borsod, which was annexed to the town in the 20th century, was already mentioned in 1108 (Borsod ''comitatus'' belonged to the castle of Borsod in the Middle Ages). The residents of Edelény worked in agriculture in mediaeval times. During the Turkish occupation of Hungary, the town was deserted several times. In the 19th century, industry became more important in the area. In 1838, a sugar factory was built, and a brown coal mine was opened.
