Norma M6
The Norma M6 is a Group C sports car developed and manufactured by Norma Auto Concept. Norma M6-01 The Norma M6-01 is the only chassis built. It was entered in the 1990 24 Hours of Le Mans by ASA Armagnac Bigorre. ASA Armagnac Bigorre is the FFSA committee in the region which holds the Norma Auto Concept factory. The drivers were Noël del Bello, Daniel Boccard and Norma co-founder Norbert Santos. During the 1990 24 Hours of Le Mans the car never left the garage. Due to engine trouble the car was unable to qualify. The Norma M6 was originally built to be fitted with a Cosworth V8 engine. Norma eventually chose to fit an experimental Moteur Guy Nègre (MGN) W12 engine. The engine was made to compete in Formula 1 and Guy Nègre tested it in an AGS JH22 in 1989. The engine never found its way to Formula 1 and was converted to fit in the Norma M6. Group C
Group C was a category of sports car racing introduced by the FIA in 1982 and continuing until 1993, with ''Group A'' for Touring car racing, touring cars and ''Group B'' for Grand tourer, GTs. It was designed to replace both Group 5 (motorsport), Group 5 special production cars (closed top touring prototypes like Porsche 935) and Group 6 (motorsport), Group 6 two-seat racing cars (open-top sportscar prototypes like Porsche 936). Group C was used in the FIA's World Sportscar Championship, World Endurance Championship (1982–1985), World Sports-Prototype Championship (1986–1990), World Sportscar Championship (1991–1992) and in the European Endurance Championship (1983 only). 1990 24 Hours Of Le Mans
The 1990 24 Hours of Le Mans was the 58th Grand Prix of Endurance, taking place at the Circuit de la Sarthe, France, on the 16 and 17 June 1990. Due to the ongoing dispute between the ACO and the FISA governing body, the race was not part of the 1990 World Sportscar Championship season, World Sports-Prototype Championship. This was the last Le Mans run under the Group C formula, and a number of manufacturers put in a major effort to win, with the notable exception of defending winners Sauber-Mercedes. Fitted with a special qualifying engine, Mark Blundell put in a blistering lap to put his Nissan on pole, fully six seconds faster than Oscar Larrauri in the Brun Porsche. 24 Hours Of Le Mans Race Cars
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern.
