Norm Thurston
Norm Thurston (born October 4 in Ogden, Utah) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives representing District 62. Biography Thurston received a BA in Spanish and Agricultural Economic Analysis from Brigham Young University. He then went on to Princeton University where he received both an MS and PhD in economics. Thurston resides in Provo, Utah with his wife Maria. Together they have three children and three grandchildren. He is currently the Director for the Office of Health Care Statistics which is the agency responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information about health care cost and quality for the State of Utah. Rebecca Lockhart
Rebecca Dawn Lockhart (November 20, 1968 – January 17, 2015) was an American politician and Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives. Lockhart represented the 64th District in Provo, Utah. Lockhart was the first female Speaker of the House in Utah, serving until the end of 2014, when she chose not to run again. Early life and career Lockhart was born in Reno, Nevada and attended college at Brigham Young University where she obtained a degree in nursing. Lockhart's husband, Stan Lockhart, served as a member of the Provo City Council and previously served as chair of the Utah Republican Party.
