Nickelodeon is a pan-Asian pay television channel operated by Paramount Networks EMEAA and owned by Paramount International Networks, based in Singapore and broadcast to audiences in Southeast Asia and certain regions in Oceania like Polynesia and Papua New Guinea. The channel was launched on 1998 and mainly broadcasts original series from Nickelodeon's namesake television channel in the United States. History The channel was first launched in the Middle East and North Africa in June 1996 as a 24-hour English-language TV channel. Since 1996, Nickelodeon decided to reach the popular channel to the Philippines, Japan, Russia & the CIS, and Asia. One of their shorts were Right Here, Right Now (based on the 1993 Nick US shorts) and their ID's were by FRONT. Broadcasts in Singapore started on 9 March 2001. Unifi TV (formerly known as hyppTV, stylized as Unifi tv prior to January 2018) is an IPTV service operated by Unifi. It was launched in 2010 as part of Unifi's bundled service offering of VoIP telephone, Internet and IPTV. NickRewind (formerly The '90s Are All That, The Splat, and NickSplat) was an American late night programming block that aired nightly over the channel space of TeenNick. The block showed reruns of mid-late 1980s, 1990s, and early-mid 2000s children's programming, mostly shows that aired on Nickelodeon during their original runs. Collectively under all of its various brands, TeenNick's overnight classic programming block ran from July 25, 2011 to January 31, 2022. The block was preceded by ''The '90s Are All That'', which debuted the night of July 25, 2011 (early July 26) and was inspired by a large amount of interest in classic Nickelodeon series from the 1990s by users of social media outlets such as Facebook. Front TV was an international broadcast design and branding firm that catered to television, film and interactive media sectors. The firm originally specialized in creative thinking, network branding, station IDs, film titles, 2D/3D animation, web, print, and sound design.
