Nick Tanner
Nicholas Tanner (born 24 May 1965) is an English former footballer who played professionally for Bristol Rovers and Liverpool. He played non-league football for Bromley Heath, Frampton Rangers and Mangotsfield United before moving to Bristol Rovers. He scored on his debut for Rovers against Bristol City in the Gloucester Cup whilst on non-contract forms. He also represented the Gloucester County FA at youth and senior level. He started his professional career as a central midfield player at Bristol Rovers under manager Bobby Gould before being signed by Liverpool in 1988, and was then converted to a central defender. He also had loan spells at Norwich City and Swindon Town before becoming a regular at Liverpool under Graeme Souness. He played 59 competitive games for the club, scoring one goal against rivals Everton on 28 December 1991 in a 1–1 draw, before retiring due to a back injury in 1994. Kingswood, South Gloucestershire
Kingswood is a town and civil parish in the South Gloucestershire district of the ceremonial county of Gloucestershire, England. The town is situated east-northeast of Bristol. Broadly speaking, Kingswood spans the area from John Cabot Academy in the west to the A4174 ring road in the east. Some areas which are in close proximity to Kingswood, such as Two Mile Hill and St George East (both located within the City of Bristol) and parts of Hanham and Warmley Hill are often considered to be part of Kingswood by locals. The border between South Gloucestershire and the City of Bristol is situated at the western end of Kingswood's High Street. Although anything beyond this point is technically no longer Kingswood 'proper', locals often consider the shops and residential areas that fringe the road named 'Two Mile Hill' (located within the area of the same name) to be a continuation of Kingswood. Bobby Gould
Robert Alfred Gould (born 12 June 1946) is an English former footballer and manager. Early life Robert Alfred Gould was born in Wyken, Coventry, Warwickshire on Wednesday, 12 June 1946. He is the son of Henry Gould and Helen McKellar Gould (née Morton). He spent his youth living in Wyken and attended Caludon Castle School for his secondary education. Playing career Gould started his football career at Coventry City, making his debut for the club whilst still an apprentice at the age of 16. He did not sign professional until June 1964. A striker, he scored 40 goals in 82 league games for the Sky Blues, helping them to win the Second Division title in 1966–67. He moved to Arsenal in February 1968 for £90,000. BBC Radio Merseyside is the BBC's local radio station serving Merseyside, North and West Cheshire and West Lancashire. Graeme Souness
Graeme James Souness (; born 6 May 1953) is a Scottish former professional football player, manager and television pundit. A midfielder, Souness achieved his greatest period of success as an integral part of the Liverpool team of the late 1970s and early 1980s, during which he won five First Division titles and three European Cup trophies. He was captain for three seasons at Liverpool until his departure to Sampdoria in 1984. Souness later became player-manager for Rangers, leading the club to three Scottish titles and four league cups. His final game as a player came in the closing minutes of Rangers' final match of the 1989–90 season, which was his only appearance of the season. Souness continued as Rangers coach for a further year before joining Liverpool as manager for the 1991–92 English First Division season.
