Nick Harris (punter)
Nicholas John Harris (born July 23, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was a punter in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the California Golden Bears, setting the NCAA record for career punting yardage and earning consensus All-American honors. The Denver Broncos chose him in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL draft, and he has played professionally for the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Carolina Panthers of the NFL. Early life and education Harris was born in Avondale, Arizona. He attended Westview High School in Avondale, where he played for the Westview Knights high school football team. He earned National Coaches' Association All-America honors as a senior with 42.3-yard punting average. Nick Harris (born November 13, 1998) is an American professional football center for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Washington Huskies and was selected by the Browns in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL draft. He also played for the Seattle Seahawks. College career Washington was the only Football Bowl Subdivision school to offer Harris a scholarship, and he committed on July 30, 2015, although Harris did receive offers from Football Championship Subdivision teams New Hampshire and Cal Poly. Nick Harris, informally known as Harry, is an English motorsport commentator, journalist and author. He provided television commentary of live MotoGP coverage for the official MotoGP world feed between 1999 and 2017. He is known as 'the voice of MotoGP'. During his 18-year run as full-time commentator, Harris became known for his uniquely enthusiastic and authoritative voice. He retired from full-time commentary after the final race of the 2017 MotoGP World Championship at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, where he held his last post-race interview with multiple prominent riders at the time such as Valentino Rossi, Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Márquez. He played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners and was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL draft.
